Description: Lockheed Martin (LM) is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in Grand Prairie, TX to support the THAAD Joint Improvement Team (JIT). The JIT is a collaborative and proactive continuous improvement program sharply focused on preventing product escapes, eliminating production line interruptions, and enhancing value chain performance comprised of cross-functional representatives from Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (SSC), and our partnering customers. This position will support the LM JIT continuous improvement strategy which leverages input from internal LM cross-functional peers, external supply chain counterparts, functional and site Quality Assurance management personnel and customer representatives. Superior communication and time management skills are essential.As part of the JIT, you will perform process and product assessments, review requirements, hardware, and documentation to ensure our customer gets the highest level of Quality. In a culture of continuous improvement our department utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive affordability and efficiency. In this role, you will use quality metrics and business analytics tools to monitor the program’s value chain and provide guidance for recommended support or improvement initiatives.The best candidate for this position ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
