Quality Engineering Practice Business HeadIn the QE practice, we work for some of the leading mortgage, banking, real estate and fintech companies, manufacturing companies, newspapers, magazines (both print & E-media), sports entertainment and media broadcasting organizations. We also work for some of the leading E- commerce and Retail organizations across the US and other Emerging Markets.Our range of services include - functional and automation testing, RPA, test assessment services, consulting in QE. We are looking at hiring a seasoned industry leader to head the QE Business Practice and enable its continued growth, scalability & maturity.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading a multi-pronged Practice Strategy by defining the IP, custom service offerings, target markets, and lead generation approach
  • Taking ownership for sales and growth in the concerned industries & markets (supporting the efforts of sales associates who own the primary quota)
  • Developing a roadmap for building deep industry knowledge and organizational capability development framework
  • Client acquisition strategy thought leadership & market positioning that will enable client growth and credentials amongst the targeted markets and client segments.
  • Providing sales support in the form of collateral and RFP responses and pitching our expertise and solutions at sales meetings and conferences
  • Providing direction and guidance to the Practice Business teams in the concerned Industries.

Requirements:
  • Master's in business administration or equivalent degree from a reputed global institution
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in varied QE leadership roles, managing - Practices, Business Development & Software Delivery in Technology Services organizations.
  • Deep expertise, client relations and proven leadership in the Quality Engineering and RPA technology domains
  • Strong understanding of US markets for QE and RPA. Added exposure to other European & Emerging markets will be a plus.
  • Someone with a proven track record in scaling up business, developing synergies, influencing cross functional teams, and aligning them to a common organizational strategy.
  • Must have managed and directly scaled up revenue to a level of USD $50M+
  • High levels of orientation towards -quality engineering and technology, client centricity, developing organizational culture, passion for excellence and ownership for people
  • Technical Solutioning Expertise in the Testing and Automation, Quality Engineering and RPA domains
  • Exposure to working in a distributed development model that includes Tavant and client staff members.
  • Ability to collaborate with and work effectively with Global delivery heads, including the QE Global Delivery Head and all other functional teams and leaders

Level & Reporting
  • The role will be positioned as a Senior Director and will report to the Chief Revenue Officer of the company.
  • The role will be in the company's Dallas or Santa Clara offices.
