We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms quality Radiologic procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.What qualifications you will need:
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
TDSHS
Technical or Vocational School Graduate
Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or State Registered Radiologic Technician
1 year of Radiology Tech experience is required.
All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period (August 25 - April 5th).
Three (3) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period.
During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
Seasonal staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy.
Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses.
Shifts may vary based on needs of the department.
Current FT/PT/PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2024-2025.
Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
