We are looking for a RAN Virtualization Senior Engineer to join our Wireless network team. You will be a key contributor as a subject matter expert in a multi-functional team of R&D, Systems engineering, and product validation to introduce Samsung products to Wireless Carrier.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Provide Subject matter expertize on Samsung vRAN solution to customer’s engineering teams.
  • Lead the support teams in troubleshooting commercial Radio network configuration and call processing issues, propose workarounds, and work with R&D teams to provide the RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
  • Lead & drive the resolution of high severity issues to meet SLA requirements and provide support as needed for commercial critical issues.
  • Support troubleshooting of oRAN interface issues in a multi-vendor deployment with Samsung vRAN solution.
  • Assist Customer in developing and implementing NE SW upgrade MOPs in the commercial networks.
  • Assist Customer with troubleshooting of issues related to orchestration and integration 5G vRAN software in cloud platforms.
  • Works closely with various cross- functional support and R&D teams to achieve successful with new product roll-outs and deployment.
  • Strong customer focus, communication and presentation skills to conduct technical training & deep dive sessions on new technology introduction of 5G RAN EMS features and virtualized networks.
  • Willing to travel sporadically to different customer locations during the new product or software rollout phase.

Success Criteria:

Technical Acumen
  • Able to provide SME support to customer’s engineering teams.
  • Able to handle outage situations seamlessly with customer and internal teams to drive resolution within SLA
  • Need to have Excellent technical skills on Operating systems (Linux), Server configurations, Networking and have the aptitude to solve problems.
  • Key contributor in driving the technical solutions to customer through complex organizational dynamics.

Presentations Skills
  • Leveraging your ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization as well as HQ partners on initiatives.

Excellence Dealing with Ambiguity
  • Bringing your experience in problem solving and ability to navigate complex organizations with pivotal shifts.
