Registered Nurse / RN - Rapid Response | RRT
PRN - Primarily Night Shift
TheRapid ResponseRRT RN performs direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the acute and critically ill patient. Our nurses use their expert nursing skills to enhance the clinical support for patients by providing hands-on care to patients in critical need and professional support to other staff nurses throughout the hospital. Our team of dedicated RRT Nurses respond to adult inpatient & outpatient emergencies outside of the ICU environment including responding to Level I and Level IIstrokes in the ER.

Qualifications
What you need to be successful:
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
BSN required
Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
NSICU experience preferred
Critical Care National Certification required within 6 months of hire
SCRN within 1 year of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
OB ACLS certified
Must have at leastthree (3) years ICU/CCU RN experience in an acute care hospital, five (5) years critical care experience preferred
