Description We are in search of a diligent Receptionist for our team in the Investment Management industry. This role is located in Houston, Texas, United States and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company, and will handle various administrative tasks such as answering and routing calls, managing the meeting calendar, maintaining office supplies inventory, and handling mail.Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate persons. Perform basic filing and other clerical duties. Manage the meeting calendar ensuring all appointments and meetings are accurately scheduled and updated. Maintain inventory in kitchen and copy rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are in stock. Place all vending and supply orders in a timely manner. Prepare coffee and set out food as needed. Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accurate and swift delivery. Assist other administrative staff as needed, providing support for a variety of tasks. Utilize skills in data entry to maintain and update company records. Perform other receptionist duties such as answering inquiries and managing a multi-line phone system. Requirements Minimum of 3 year of experience in a receptionist role within the Investment Management/Companies industry Proficiency in receptionist duties including greeting and directing guests Experience in handling inbound calls and directing them to the appropriate parties Ability to respond to inquiries from clients, employees, and visitors Experience with multi-line phone systems Proficiency in filing and maintaining organized records Experience performing various clerical duties Ability to manage and maintain calendars for multiple individuals or teams Experience in supplies inventory management Proficiency in ordering office supplies as needed Ability to distribute incoming mail in a timely manner Experience in data entry and computer data entry tasks Proficiency in typing for data entry tasks Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications High school diploma or equivalent.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
