Good communication and technical skills a must.SUMMARYThe primary purpose of the Human Resources Assistant position is to support the full lifecycle recruitment process with overall responsibility for the scheduling interviews and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience at time of hire. Partners with recruiters and hiring managers to facilitate the process. Cultivates relationships with clients and candidates.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESScheduling: Schedule HR and department interviews. Coordinate with recruiter and department for availability. Prepare all paperwork and communicate in a clear, concise and timely manner for scheduled interviews. Understand key stakeholders for the assigned client areas and serve as liaison to triage client issues.Onboarding: Schedule and coordinate onboarding appointments to include completion of Employee Health requirements, institutional and federal document requirements, and criminal background check clearance. Track and capture onboarding progression in Taleo Transitions for each new hire to include completion of new hire forms, hiring manager tasks, and required contingencies as per the position description.Case Management: Review and respond to cases assigned to Recruitment in case management box within 48 hours.Training: Define trends and conduct training to educate HR Service Center regarding appropriate resolution to recruitment questions.Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements for candidates considering cost, schedules and the urgency of the request. Process all necessary paperwork for candidate reimbursement within three business days of receipt.Job Fairs: Coordinate details of internal and external job fairs to include room reservation, candidate scheduling, department confirmation, applicant tracking documentation and preparation for event day.Loan Processing: Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and routed for forgivable and interest free-relocation loans. Provide timely communication regarding the status of loan payment.Screening: Assist with screening of candidates, resume review, phone interview, and assessments and/or in person interview. Update activities in the applicant tracking system in a timely manner.Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Education: Bachelor's Level DegreeExperience: Four years business or administrative experience. With preferred degree, no experience required. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.Preferred Experience: Prefer recent experience in Human Resources, HR Onboarding, New hire processes, Taleo and PeopleSoft systems.
