Refrigeration Lead

Refrigeration Lead ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and maintain all refrigeration equipment, compressed air systems, and steam boilers.

Monitor and manage PAA tote levels as needed.

Prepare work orders and notifications for any defects found.

Maintain Process Safety Management records.

Keep records according to standard operating procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of one year of ammonia refrigeration or maintenance experience required

Basic electrical knowledge and trouble shooting skills.

Be able to read plant P&IDs and locate valves in the physical plant by interpreting these drawings.

Assist in training operators, and developing their skills.

Assist management in continually developing PMs, doing RCAs, creating lists of parts needed for projects or repairs.

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

Show ability to cooperate with others and the initiative to work toward completing department goals.

Able to work while walking/standing for long periods of time, to include weekend and OT as needed.

Good interpersonal skills

Self-motivated and able to work safely with little oversight.

Basic computer skills to track WOs and notification, input time daily, into SAP.

Able to send and receive e-mails.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

CIRO preferred, or at least Operator one with 2 years working experience.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required,
