We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care for a specific assigned group of patients. The Medical City North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. The attached criteria-based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency.What qualifications you will need:

Education:

A. Graduate of a school of professional nursing.

Experience:

A. 1 year’s Critical Care experience and cardiovascular experience preferred.

Specific Requirements:

A. Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted; Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire.B. Certified in BLS required & ACLS from AHA or ARC required within 90 days of employmentC. Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.D. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.E. Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to Critical Care Nursing.F. Clinically proficient in critical care nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the development needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County. Our campus has a women's imaging center and geriatric behavioral unit.
