Work environment: Stephenville ER is a close-knit family is a 12 bed unit with 1 to 4 ratios. We are a Level IV Trauma Center that cares for emergent cases that provides quality care to the Stephenville, TX and surrounding areas.

Work hours: PRN, 72 hours per month minimum, Rotating Shifts

Salary range: $41 per hour

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

BCLS – upon hire – expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.

ACLS – within 90 days

PALS – within 90 days

CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 60 days of hire

2 years clinical RN experience required.

2-3-year ER experience preferred.

ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – 12 months required.

TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course – 12 months required.

In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN willdemonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism.

have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems.

Position ResponsibilitiesDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
