Relationship Manager IThe Relationship Manager I role works with a book of clients with $10-$75 million in assets and is responsible for delivering a distinctive and strategic client experience through leadership of integrated teams to ensure growth, retention, and servicing of existing clients. They are responsible for deepening relationships with key decision makers and partners while driving plan and participant outcomes through alignment with best practices in retirement plan design, efficient plan administration and delivering lifetime income solutions through the expanded adoption of TIAA products and services.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Maintains and enhances existing business and client services.

Identifies the sales opportunities within their book of business and relies on internal business partners to help drive client adoption with specific emphasis on TIAA's Custom Portfolio solutions.

Leads and oversees integrated teams and discussions with the client and engages the appropriate internal business partners to support plan adoption and client needs.

Develops and maintains institutional client and key decision maker relationships to understand their business, risks, and opportunities then executes a plan to align with them.

Advocates for TIAA to be a present representative at client association group events (e.g. Association of Independent Schools, etc.) to enhance client relationships and promote the organization.

Recommends a wide range of company products/services and solutions in response to client’s business requirements.

Partners with Consultant Community to achieve client retention and adoption of TIAA solutions.

Career Level7ICAll licenses must be obtained within 120 days from start date.Base Pay Range: $78,200/yr. - $130,400/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
