- 24/7 Hours of Service Position. Usually there is weeks of notice prior to weekend/evening hour requirements. Rarely there is a few hours of notice.
- Reliable, prompt and a self-starter
- Technical writing skills and able to maintain various documents within a SharePoint environment are a plus
- Prior knowledge of Positive Train Control is a plus
- Should have ability to take the lead within the team when needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Notepad, PuTTy, NMS, TMDS ViewClient, and SharePoint,
- Remedy and Mainframe experience is a plus
- Experience in leading meetings/conference calls
- Experience in planning and coordinating system changes and cutovers with multiple teams
- Attention to detail; task oriented; able to follow a set of procedures accurately
- Must have strong research skills – Log Analysis experience is a PLUS
- Skills in troubleshooting system and process problems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Build constructive relationships with team members, business partners, and vendors
- Proactive planning, root cause analysis, issue mitigation and a sense of urgency are critical
- Analytical skills preferred
- Technology experience preferred, but not required
