Remote-RMIS Assessment and RFP Development

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSULTANTS All proposed consultants MUST have at least five (5) years of experience with analyzing information systems, gathering technical requirements, and developing RFPs for K-12 school districts of similar size and scope to ISD. The selected consultant must be independent and must not be affiliated with any technology device, equipment, software or services provider. Documenting technical requirements for future ISD RFPs will automatically preclude the selected consultant and their firm from participating in any related RFP or any other bid solicitation for the products and/or services related to the technical specifications and other documents that are written. Project Requirements and Deliverables: The selected candidate will partner with the ISD Risk Management Services team to review current functionalities in our RMIS to assist with development of a scope of services for an RFP for a new RMIS, which should capture current functionality and new functionality needed. Risk Management Services already has a draft of a scope of services; however, we need an IT expert to review to ensure it addresses the needs of the department. The following is a list of services which will be required of the selected candidate and is not intended to eliminate other services which he/she believes may be necessary and is able to provide. The actual scope will be determined upon selection of the firm and candidate and shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties.
