W2 only (no c2c, no 1099)

Manager Note:

  • Experience with native AWS data services including compute and storage offerings
  • Experience with full stack development, including application, API, testing and automation
  • Experience using Snowflake, etc
  • Experience using Terraform developing Infrastructure as Code

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Advanced Python for AWS SDK and Terraform

    • Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent. Graduate level work in computer engineering is a plus

    Professional Experience:

    Experience in working with medium to large data environment for Data Stewards and business users

    Proven experience in AWS Cloud environments

    Experience with big data platforms like Cloudera/Hortonworks

    Experience with data analytics platforms and processes

    Experience with:

    Provisioning and Build Support

    Patch Management

    Compliance Management

    Automation and Process Improvements

    Experience in managing AWS Services:

    S3, Lambda, Glue and AWS RDS (like SQL Server or Oracle) and AWS native databases (like Aurora)

    EC2 instances (Monitoring and re-hydration)

    AWS IAM and Networking concepts

    Advanced Python for AWS SDK and Terraform

    Troubleshooting integration issues with other AWS services.

    Sagemaker

    AWS Database Migration Service and SCT tool

    AWS Storage Gateway

    Glue

    Experience in managing DMS Service:

    Install, setup and configure environments to integrate to the cloud

    Design, Build, maintain, upgrade and support the multiple environments

    Ability to collaborate with Management/Data Stewards from multiple business lines to meet customer demands

    Responsibilities:

    Build, maintain and support AWS environments end to end

    Develop scripting for AWS services for products/customers

    Develop scripting for On-prem Linux and Windows using OS native Scripting Methods

    Automation and process improvement through scripting aligning with Patterns

    Follow security guidelines to be incompliant

    Follow standards and ensure industry best practices aligning with guidelines

    Working knowledge of Agile, AgileDevops and product methodology

    On-call support Once every 6 weeks, Incident Management, Provisioning and Build Support, Patching, upgrade, compliance
