As a Residency Program Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the GME Internal Medicine program at Texas Health Denton that builds upon the commitment to care established by Texas Health Resources, the highest-ranked health system in the U.S. on Fortune’s 2022 100 Best Companies to Work For ® list.When you join our program, you become a vital member and leader of our collaborative, multidisciplinary health care team where your expertise is valued, and work/life balance is prioritized.Here’s What You NeedIdeal candidates will have previous Graduate Medical Education experience in an academic medical center or healthcare setting and C-TAGME.High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience in a professional administrative role or a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Communication or related field and 2 years in administrative capacity is required.Graduate in medical education or related field is preferred.Experience training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education Certification (C-TAGME) is preferred upon hire.SkillsIdeal candidates will have a history of success in coordinating GME programs, be knowledgeable of ACGME and GME program and accreditation requirements, will be resourceful, detail-oriented, extremely organized, skilled at task prioritization and time management, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, dependable, and a critical thinker with a proactive approach toward problem solvingAbility to understand the dynamics and objectives of the residency program and develop an in-depth understanding of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Institutional, Specialty and Program Requirements and Policies. Proficiency with computer application, online resources and equipment utilized by the department. Knowledge of the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), Accreditation Data System/Case Log System (ADS), FRIEDA, and other residency database systems preferred.Additional perks at Texas Health
