Respiratory Care Specialist Job Summary:

Provides limited respiratory care to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Performs a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting and storing respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.

Respiratory Care Specialist Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates competency in respiratory care procedures.
• Maintains accurate department records.
• Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.

Qualifications

Respiratory Care Specialist Job Requirements:

• High School/GED and enrolled for credit in the clinical portion of an approved Respiratory Care education program.
• 2nd year of Respiratory Care program; initial and semi-annual verification of student status required thereafter.
• BLS Required.
