Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) OB/GYNSeasonal Program Runs: July 31st 2022 to April 8th 2023Seasonal RN Rate: $60.00 per hourCompletion Bonus $2,000: Paid after the successful completion of 16 consecutive weeks of employment while meeting all shift requirements during that time period.Work Schedule: PRN (Nights 7P-7A). All Seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period. During the course of the 16 week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts. Assesses plans and evaluates patient care needs.
Carries out physician orders.
Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.
Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care.
Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
Instructs and educates patients and families.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Provides age and culturally appropriate care.
Orients and mentors new staff members.
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Required Job Qualifications include:
Current licensure as an RN
Must have a minimum of one year experience as an RN in OB / Mother Baby in a hospital environment
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
