This position is 100% remote; candidate may reside anywhere within the U.S.Position SummaryThe Sales Development Director is responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue objectives and sales goals through new business acquisition. They are responsible for prospecting and building C-level relationships, understanding the prospects business challenges, and identifying and selling through Vericast solutions to meet those challenges. After initial client program, the Sales Development Director will work closely with the appropriate sales and account support team on a transition plan to best support the business for future management. Key ResponsibilitiesMake sales calls for the purpose of: Identifying and capturing all revenue opportunities, expanding knowledge base of customer business/objectives and requirements, building meaningful value-added relationships, selling the value of Vericast products/services and solutions and work toward establishing partnershipsPenetrate and close new business opportunitiesCreate a compelling story/vision to the prospect on why they should change their marketing strategyPropose omni-channel solutions that will achieve the prospects goalsSell using data, research and insightsCreate demand for all Vericast Products, Services and SolutionsHave financial discussions with clients and prospectsUpon closure of a sale, effectively transition the account to the identified sales team and associateEffectively work through internal processes and procedures to support optimization of Reporting and Sales:Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts and pipelines through effective utilization of Salesforce.com.  Use Salesforce to manage business.Submit all planning and call reports as requiredEngage internal resources as needed and establish effective workingUp to 20% travel may be required
