About Us
We are a small but growing Buy Here Pay Here dealership with approximately 100 active in-house accounts. Our operation is lean, honest, and built on trust. We’re looking for a driven Sales Manager — someone who loves selling, knows the car business, and understands how to keep a small dealership running efficiently day to day.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with strong sales experience and basic mechanical or shop knowledge. You’ll work closely with the owner to manage the daily flow of the lot, but your main focus will be selling vehicles. Since collections and back-office operations are handled externally, you’ll dedicate most of your time to sales, customer follow-up, posting inventory, and keeping the lot moving.
Responsibilities
Sell vehicles directly to customers. Minimum of 5–6 units per month required.
This minimum ensures a guaranteed base of $2,500 per month, plus commissions per vehicle sold and performance bonuses.
Bonuses are also available for assisting with daily shop coordination.
Post and manage inventory on Facebook Marketplace and other platforms.
Coordinate with the owner and mechanic to ensure cars are ready for sale.
Maintain an organized and professional dealership lot.
Assist lightly with shop coordination during the first weeks if needed.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with the owner.
Requirements
Experience in car sales (Buy Here Pay Here preferred).
Basic understanding of mechanic or shop processes.
Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Growth
Base salary: $2,500 per month.
Commissions: Per unit sold (discussed in interview).
Bonuses: Based on performance and operational support.
Typical monthly earnings for someone meeting minimum expectations are between $4,750 and $5,800 or more, depending on performance.
High performers (10–12 units per month) often reach $6,000–$6,500+.
Annual earnings for consistent performers typically range from $55,000 to $65,000.
