The HT Group is looking for a Sales Systems Engineer (with Project Management skills) for a direct hire role. You can work from Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, or Houston. While the position is remote, except to travel to meet with customers and to the Austin office for occasional meetings.
You will be responsible for supporting sales with new and existing customers of our client. You will meet with customers to gather requirements for the purpose of integrating systems together so that the client can utilize their own systems and have visibility to all packages that are being shipped and delivered. Once you gather the customers' requirements you will work with the internal IT (Information Technology) team to develop the system integration solution (API, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), FTP, etc.) Once the solution is developed, you are responsible for working with Customer and internal IT to test the solution. Skills- Sales - Sales acumen and sales presence, an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and strong presentation skills.
- Business Analysis - Ability to work with customers to gather and document their requirements
- Technical - A good understanding of system integration methodologies and the benefits and drawbacks associated with each method of integration, or a strong technological background with the ability to learn systems integration techniques in short order.
- Ability to work with internal IT and the customer to gain knowledge of their system(s) allowing you to recommend integration technology(s) that best meets the needs of the company and the customers.
- Project management - Project management skills to manage the full lifecycle of integrations for each new and existing customer.
- A willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
