Client: Apex/Valero Energy CorporationJob Title: S/4 Backend DeveloperLocation: San Antonio, Texas-Hybrid (100% onsite preferred, open to 3 days a week onsite/2 days remote a week)

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:30 pm Friday 8:30-3 pm CST

Project Deliverables
  • Work with functional team members to develop solutions as prioritized by the project team
  • Work with the technical team for the design, analysis, and construction of solutions
  • Understand construction plan, and execute coding and configuration deliverables, as assigned, in:
  • CDS views, ODATA, AMDP, and RAP model needed
  • Standard SAP modules SD, MM, IS-OIL TSW (TSW and IS-OIL is a nice to have)
  • Custom solutions designed as part of this project
  • Knowledge and Experience in Object-Oriented ABAP development is required
  • BAPI, BADI, and User Exits
  • Execute unit test cases and document test results.
  • Redesign existing technical objects as required.
  • Transport objects, as needed, to test and production environments.
  • Fix bugs found during the unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Assist with cutover planning and execution.
  • Post-go-live support.
  • Precise and timely communication with the project team
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working across different technical and functional domains
  • Adhere to Valero Standards of development
  • Follow the Valero change management process for application deployment

Required Skills: S/4 backend development, must have s/4 • CDS views, Odata, AMDP, Object Oriented experience • Know ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) • SD, MM knowledge is important around data models • Some with ABAP background that has moved into s/4 backend • TSW is nice to have Skill rating for Backend 1) OData: 2) CDS Views: 3) S/4 Hana: 4) ABAP: 5) AMDP: 6) RAP model: 7) Object oriented concepts:
