Collinwood is assisting our client, a leading food manufacturer, in their efforts to hire an

IT Manager, US regional support - Supply Chain & Manufacturing, and actively participate in project execution, implementation, and the support of Supply Chain and Manufacturing business process solutions. Attention to quality and a strong customer service orientation while working in partnership with the business is key.

(Please note that this role can be based in Dallas or Milwaukee)Overview of The RoleThe IT Manager reports to the IT Director, Regional Support – USA, and is responsible for addressing the IT-related needs and priorities of the USA division within the Supply Chain and Manufacturing business functional areas.Scope includes domain management responsibility of IT regional support for ERP systems and ancillary technologies that are specific to the USA operations. Leads a team of IT Specialists/Analysts providing SAP support for assigned functional area(s) and technical support for localized systems. Works in close coordination with business stakeholders and all major IT functions. Oversees IT execution in alignment with business and IT strategy.The client is seeking a pragmatic leader who can build relationships with the business and focus on driving the adoption of common processes and tools to maximize returns on IT investments. The position is responsible for collaborating with the business and identifying value-add opportunities that enhance business performance. The key to success is strong leadership and a keen customer service orientation that promotes partnership with the business.On an ongoing basis, the Manager will work with division stakeholders to translate business needs into requirements, evaluate options, and develop project plans including implementation estimates. The leader will engage other core IT functions to ensure IT enabling solutions to achieve business objectives and are compatible, secure, and compliant with global IT standards. This person will also work with Saputo's global IT PMO to confirm alignment with global IT priorities, plans, and resource commitments.This management position will gain an understanding of the division strategy and goals, how the ERP and local application landscape support the business, and ultimately contribute towards areas where IT capabilities can accelerate benefits for the division. For areas of responsibility, the leader will provide direction and/or coordinate execution efforts within cross-functional teams of business SMEs, IT resources, and 3rd party vendors.Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership, business acumen, technology competency, project delivery experience, and influence/communication skills acting as a change agent. An asset is proven knowledge of SAP, Microsoft, and IoT technologies that are current and progressing in the market. Thought leadership on emerging trends and related business applications is desirable. The successful leader in the role will build strong credibility with the organization as a partner and trusted advisor to the business.How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
  • Active member of the IT US Regional Support leadership team
  • Participates in annual planning of strategic operating priorities, understands linkage to IT strategy, guides business on IT solution requirements, plans and secures resources
  • Manages IT activity base for domain area of responsibility in alignment with business strategy, priorities, and goals
  • Facilitates use of common ERP processes, tools, and digital technologies
  • Contributes to the maintenance of a multi-year rolling project plan for a division-specific IT roadmap
  • Engages with Business Process Owners (BPOs), Key Users (KUs), and global IT to help identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities; works with business and IT teams to drive efficiencies and promote leading practices while leveraging existing technology investments
  • Provides support for sustainment of Key User Network and delivery of change to the business
  • Monitors adherence to IT strategy, policies & procedures, standards, methodology, governance
  • Ensures delivery of secure, compliant, and reliable solutions that are fit to purpose
  • Accountable for domain-specific localized systems and technologies applied within the IT governance framework
  • Leads and manages IT Regional Support team providing efficient localized on-site support and execution of project deliverables on time, budget, and quality
  • Maintains site visit rotation for major facilities; fosters relationship/partnership with the business, gains in-depth knowledge of the operations, identifies IT challenges or opportunities
  • Leads/supports project initiatives at regional and global levels as appropriate and applicable considering scope, complexity, knowledge, experience, and domain expertise
  • Works with business and global IT to gather requirements, formalize deliverables, define and coordinate resources, and provide input to project scope and outcomes
  • Actively participates in IT incident prioritization / resolution and assessing change requests
  • Engages 3rd party service providers including contractors/consultancy as required
  • Develops and maintains documentation for sustainment of localized systems and platforms
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, computer science, or information technology
  • 5+ years work experience in the delivery of ERP (SAP) solutions; BI reporting & analytics a plus
  • 5+ years work experience managing a team within a specific domain area of responsibility
  • 5+ years experience in the food manufacturing sector supporting multi-platform environments; working knowledge of IT/OT technologies is an asset (data management, automation, IoT, industrial PLC devices)
  • Strong business acumen, leadership, change management, influence, and collaboration skills
  • Proven success in executing cross-functional initiatives in a medium-large scale business
  • Strong written/oral communication skills at all levels in the organization
  • Adept at building relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong ability to operate in complex, fast pace project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & languages
  • Strong people management skills including delegation, motivation, development, and coaching
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (Power BI, SQL, Azure IoT), Industry 4.0 toolsets a plus
