SAP s4HANA CUTOVER lead.

Contract length 12+ months contract with a strong possibility of extension.

Positions Open: onsite (Dallas, TX)

Need very strong Microsoft projectlooking for a strong candidate to manage cutover activities for a large-scale transformation program in S/4 HANA. Primary purpose of the role is to manage the Technical & Business cutover plans ensuring the smooth Go-live.

Key accountabilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the Cutover. Responsible for creating and updating the cutover plan for a global implementation.
  • Execute cutover and maintain the plan, report cutover status during Deployment and mock cutovers
  • Responsible for to updating the template for future cutovers during the global implementation of the new systems & subsequent wave deployments.
  • Assist to define, develop the cutover plan by coordinating with the IT leads for testing, data migration, IT system cutover activities and legacy process transition.
  • Assist to define, develop business tasks in a cutover plan by coordinating with Pepsico business leads like ramp down, freezes & validation task etc
  • Identify all communication needs during the cut-over/ Pre & post and build a communication matrix.
  • Regularly update the stakeholder scorecard & provides updates to the leadership.
  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, timeframes, policy objectives and other project priorities
  • Input into Stage Gate reviews for all data and cutover related activity

Key challenges:
  • Managing complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests
  • Identifying interdependencies and balancing competing demands to ensure project objectives are achieved and governance and reporting requirements are met

Experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft project (5+ experience) to handle large cutover plan running few thousand lines
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Previous experience of working with Global teams with various stakeholders and multiple delivery partners.
  • Relevant Data Management and Cutover Management experience.
  • End to end understanding of a typical business process and how all the functions and processes work together
  • Understanding of the underlying technical architecture and benefits of S/4HANA
