Satellite Installations

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and self-motivated individual to join our Installations Division. This is a permanent 1099 contract position.

All contract technicians must provide their own tools and a professional work truck. Please note that as a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes—taxes are not withheld, and 1099s are issued at year-end.

Pay Structure: Net 7 pay period, paid weekly (every Monday)

Installation Overview

Installations typically take up to two hours, plus travel time. A standard installation includes:

Mounting and pointing the dish

Grounding the system to an NEC-approved point

Running coaxial cable from the dish to the modem

Configuring the modem

Connecting it to the customer’s computer

Candidate Requirements

A qualified candidate will have:

Excellent customer service skills

Basic computer and networking knowledge

Residential and/or commercial construction experience

If you meet these qualifications, training can be completed quickly. Training includes:

An online course (which can begin after background check clearance)

Hands-on field training with a certified technician as needed
