Scale Weigh Master

Located at 2670 Fulton Ranch Road

San Marcos, TX, is looking to hire a Scale House Clerk/Weigh master. This position is responsible for the day to day operations of the Scale House.

Requirements

Operate scale house M-F 7am-5pm some weekends if needed.

Schedule and direct trucks

Understand customer’s needs and requirements

Answer incoming telephone calls

Cash sales – document, verify & accurately fill out checks for customers

Research problem tickets and properly document findings

Convey any known customer needs and/or complaints with the appropriate people

Maintain files for truckers insurance, tax exempt certificates, and overload permits.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to meet customers and project friendly, cooperative, and positive attitude

High School Diploma or equivalent

Keep work place clean and organized

Some knowledge of legal weights & measures helpful

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Competent operating normal office equipment - copiers, fax machines, adding machines, computers, printers, etc.

Excellent attitude towards safety

Service oriented and a team player

Must be able to prioritize work load in an efficient manner

Must be able to communicate over CB and two way radio

Ability to work weekends when needed.
