Scrum Master (SAFe) / Technical Project Manager

Odyssey has a long-term contract with a top client in Dallas, TX for a very Senior level Scrum Master who comes from a Technical Project Management background. This is remote for now, but will be based in Dallas maybe summer of 2022.

• Local to Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in TX or willing to relocate to the area once able to go onsite (maybe summer of 2022).
• Available for multi-step interview process.
• Customer-facing projects or Ecommerce experience
• Able to work in an Agile/SCRUM/ Test Driven Environment running 2-week sprints.

• Strong communication skills with A+ personality

• Experience with SAFe - deep understanding in processes
• Servant leadership mindset
• Can manage conflict resolution
• Experience with Jira preferred (Jira Align would be a plus)
• Ability to point to examples of team improvement using retrospectives
• Ability to monitor progress during the iteration and over time (i.e. story pointing, burn-up/burn-down, planning based on velocity)

• SAFe processes - Escalating impediments to RTE, working within Scrum of Scrums, team reporting that rolls up to program reporting
• Protects the team's capacity - can tactfully tell leadership when their requests are hurting the teams productivity
• Serves as Agile Coach on best practices but works diligently with peers to create consistency across teams
• Works hard to resolve team impediments
• Provide team level reporting/metrics
• Manages all team ceremonies
• Creates transparency and trust within the team and with our partners (Technology and Marketing)
