Description Our company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting operations, including but not limited to financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for supervising and training entry level accounting staff. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Monitor and analyze business performance against budgets and forecasts and provide recommendations for improvement. Supervise, train, and mentor entry level accounting staff. Work closely with the management team to support decision-making and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, such as Oracle ERP Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, and NetSuite Supervisory or team management experience preferred.
