This role is based in our Dallas, TX corporate officeIn Commercial Strategy, Insights, and Analytics, we are internal consultants to key functions across the business, including Hilton’s Customer, Brands, Marketing, Digital, Revenue, and Sales organizations, with specialized support for the executive leadership team. The team consists of both embedded authorities who serve as strategic advisors to key partners and technical specialists who are proficient in advanced analytics techniques and tools. The team is integrated with the business functions to ensure close partnership and to optimally measure and drive company performance.What will I be doing?Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Analytics, this role will be leading analytic efforts as part of a multi-functional project team supporting major commercial initiatives, decision-making, and revenue management strategies. Heavily embedded with the business, the role will need to provide key analytical leadership during strategy development, requirements gathering, modeling, and measurement applications. The role will also collaborate with other commercial analytic leads in developing advanced techniques to monitor the ongoing efficiency of strategic initiatives. Additionally, this role will have a focus on driving the advancement of the revenue analytics team’s skills and capabilities through mentorship, the development of trainings, and the creation of analytic accelerators (i.e. best practice documentation and automation).More specifically, you will be responsible for:

Leading projects with multi-functional analytic and business teams, including but not limited to data science, marketing, digital, customer, and product teams.

Collaborating and strategizing with business teams to design, develop and measure optimal price and product enhancements with a key focus on enterprise value creation (return on investment) or net impact.

Conducting extensive requirements-gathering sessions with the business or key stakeholder groups.

Evaluating opportunities to improve revenue management systems capabilities in support of commercial performance improvement and decision making.

Developing and refining a test & learn a framework that allows for quick measurement and recommendations that expedites business action.

Measuring and monitoring the performance and effectiveness of current initiatives, preparing and presenting analysis during executive and multi-functional reviews.

Participating in special projects and other related duties as assigned by Director, including advanced ad-hoc assignments/analysis.

What are we looking for?To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

Three (3) years working with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling

Three (3) years of professional experience in roles creating and analyzing reports, gathering reporting requirements, developing reports and dashboards

Expertise with BI and data tools (including SQL, R, MicroStrategy, etc.)

Hybrid work schedule based in the Dallas office about 1-3 days a week

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

BA/BS Bachelor’s degree

Four (4) years of professional experience

One (1) year of functional experience in Hotel Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial Analytics, or Hospitality Analytics

Ability to balance and translate complex analytical methodologies into organizational and business objectives

Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills

Experience in advanced analytic techniques, particularly within R or Alteryx toolkits
