DescriptionEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Advise on Cordis’ compensation philosophy, practices, and programs; provide compensation expertise and support to Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners.

Support the administration of annual merit, including developing/updating global guidelines and tools; preparing communication materials; and analyzing and counseling HR Consultants and management on recommendations.

Evaluate jobs, determine salary ranges, and educate on appropriate job classification, title, and grade. Review proposed promotion and adjustment increases and council on compensation-related challenges.

Conduct market assessments for development of global base/bonus guidelines and programs.

Create and maintain incentive plan documents, ensure documentation and process meets legal and compliance requirements

Oversee North American and global salary surveys & respond to inquiries from survey providers.

Maintain/update salary ranges, job codes, grades, and bonus targets and guidelines; partner with HR Consultants and HRIS to ensure accuracy of compensation data in ADP.

Ensure effective communication/promotion of the company's compensation programs and practices.

Actively support team members across HR and look for opportunities to improve processes, policies, and service levels.

Administer the global recognition program. Including the teammate communication, coordinating with payroll for special payments and monthly reporting.

Experience working in a complex, matrixed structure

Proactive team member with strong customer service orientation, excellent attention to detail and follow through. Ability to handle confidential colleague information with discretion and exercise good judgment.

Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to manage end-to-end processes.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Strong working knowledge of current compensation practices and trends.

Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationCertified Compensation Professional – Preferred

Computer SkillsProficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint); Expert at Excel
