A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Work with other customer support and technical resources to solve customer pain points within installed, hosted, and SaaS products leveraging database, application, and development support expertise.
  • Translate requirements, trouble shoot customer requests for assistance and solve them as expediently and effectively as possible.
  • Interact with internal teams in troubleshooting and software release activities
  • Review code/repository to find defects and deficiencies
  • Understand product configurations to provide complex technical solutions to customer inquiries
  • Automate processes/procedures and communicate crucial customer needs/constraints.
  • Partner with engineering, data, development and technical operations for more complex application support and product fixes.
  • Identify the cause and recommend resolutions and document process and technical content updates.
  • Train and mentor other members of the technical support team.
  • Collaborate with customers and teammates to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop documentation, FAQ's, and knowledge-based articles, and other self-service offerings to improve overall customer satisfaction

BACKGROUND
  • Senior level product support experience providing technical application and database support for client-facing solutions and services in a SaaS/Cloud technology environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and documenting skills within a Java, .Net or ROR application development framework
  • Exposure to the healthcare IT, population health management, and EMR industries are strongly preferred, with the ability to learn about highly regulated data formats, such as HIPAA, EDI, x12, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of middleware environments and support (i.e. Active MQ, Wildfly, Tomcat)
  • Expertise writing, reading and modifying database queries and application code.
  • Development experience with SOAP and REST web services, and web application support in JAVA, ASP/.NET.
  • Experience with CRM/ticketing systems such as Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
