Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is changing the way health cares.Contribute to the successful and on-time delivery of a consistent flow of new technical features, enhancements, support, and improvements to internal business users and external partners with high-quality results. Work with stakeholders to identify the business scope and needs including configuration changes. Develop well-informed task estimates for any projects worked on. Provide project management and direction for system-related projects including executing work and reporting status against task plans. Participate in operational support and escalation processes to minimize the impact of system malfunctions on mission-critical applications.Establish and adhere to business and technical specifications and conduct design and code reviews. Produce high-quality designs and optimal solutions against requirements, architectural guidelines, and performance expectations. Establish code quality goals, define and perform unit and integration testing, and demonstrate measurable results. Create training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer. Identify deficiencies in standard processes and suggest changes to improve the efficiency and quality of engineering.Responsible for performing advanced triage for diagnosis of the reported system and interface errors, communicating Application Software Maintenance requests, and issuing reports for KS Managed Care and Kelsey Care Advantage business units.

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor s degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience
  • 10 years of technical experience, including 8 years as a software developer developing web applications within a healthcare environment specific to Medicaid/Medicare with a Health Plan.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license
  • SQL Server Administration
  • SQL Programming (Stored Procedures) MS SQL Server SSIS/SSRS
  • EDI/Flat Files/API Development (JSON)
  • X12 HIPAA Transaction Code Sets
  • Software Development Cycle including development project management.
  • Advanced technical competency in three or more of the following:Healthcare Payer systems, Member and Provider Portals (UX/UI), CRM (Salesforce/Microsoft), Utilization Management, Care Management, Machine Readable Files, Enrollment Systems
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Proven communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, technical, and writing skills.
  • Candidates must have a positive “can do” attitude and a professional demeanor.

Preferred include:
  • Master’s degree
  • Extensive work experience in Microsoft Web Development including VB .NET, C#, IIS
  • Technical aptitude for multiple application points of integration.
  • Related Programming/Scripting Language Certification
  • Related Vendor and/or Application Certification
  • Related Industry Association Certification
