We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable.Position SummaryThe Health Plan Client Engagement Reporting team is looking for a Senior Analyst who will collaborate with key stakeholders to assess business needs and develop robust analytic and reporting solutions that drive efficiency and data accuracy. This Sr. Analyst position will provide analytic support for the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) program and is responsible for analyzing, compiling, and reporting RDS subsidy drug data generated from multiple internal/external data systems in order to ensure maximum subsidy benefits for clients. This position will be required to gain in-depth knowledge of the various CMS mandated Medicare programs and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies. The Sr. Analyst will work within a high-performing analytics team to identify and investigate quality issues and maintain relationships with internal/external partners to ensure effective and accurate communication.The Senior Analyst must have the ability to develop an understanding of the Government guidance, underlying data elements, and basic code utilized to create reports that identify data anomalies. This position will interface with internal stakeholders and data owners, CVS Caremark clients, CMS/RDS vendors, and external data auditors.Required Skills:To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have: 2+ years of healthcare industry experience with at least 1 year working with Medicare or Quality reporting Basic analytic skills, with a proven ability to solve logical challenges and synthesize data to develop meaningful insights Ability to think critically and to multitask with timely follow through. Self-starter with ability to work with team members or independently on multiple projects with little supervision Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly Ability to identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and anomalies. Creative problem solver, flexible, proactive and ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

Basic understanding of underlying data elements, and code utilized to create reports that identify data anomalies.

Analyze and compile data from multiple sources using excel.

Ability to work within a climate of ambiguity.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications Experience with analytical tools such as VBA, SQL, R, Python, Power BI or related applications Able to identify root causes of problems, and develop and implement solutions, incorporating business needs and consulting management as needed. Includes business considerations in analysis and offers direction to keep projects aligned. Able to interpret instructions, ask analytical questions, validate report/query information, and detect flaws in requests or suggested methodologies Proven experience maintaining relationships with internal/external partners to ensure effective and accurate communicationEducationBachelors’ degree preferred in business, technical or related field or equivalent work experience.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$43,700.00 - $91,800.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
