Sr Software Developer is responsible for providing web-based, consumer-focused application development to our marketing clients. This typically includes marketing intelligence-focused micro-sites, data-centric APIs, email landing pages, and marketing-focused dashboards. This requires both technical and business skills that include technical requirements, documentation, and development as part of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC). The Jr Software Developer has a solid Object-Oriented (OO) background with proven abilities to design and implement OO projects utilizing appropriate design artifacts. Responsibilities- Develops data-driven websites, standalone web services, APIs, and proprietary web-based tools using .NET technologies
- Develops unit test cases and ensures successful test completion before delivery to QA team (unit tests should be thorough and cover set/accessor methods in addition to all functions dealing with business logic)
- Consistently commits code updates to guarantee safety of code artifacts and to minimize code dependency impact to other team members
- Communicates requirements and status with other teams and competencies on an ongoing basis
- Full Stack Developer (front end and back end)
- Extensive development experience including .NET Frameworks, C#, etc.
- Experience with configuration and development of Microsoft Azure Microservices including Azure Functions, API's, Service Bus
- Experience with database technologies including Structured (e.g., Azure SQL, Oracle) and Unstructured (e.g., Cosmos, Mongo) and Caching (e.g., Redis)
- Experience with design/development of API's, data integration, Web Applications, Microsites, etc.
- Experience integrating with CRM and CMS technologies (Adobe, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced environment working multiple short timeline projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
