Our mortgage loan client is seeking a Senior .Net Developer to join their team as a full-time employee. This is a hybrid position, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Senior .Net/C# DeveloperThe Sr. Developer works with Sr. Developers, Quality Analysts, and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and develop solutions to support the company’s loan origination products. The Sr. Developer will develop a deep understanding of the loan products and leverage their technical skills to create software solutions to address complex financial requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop applications to support loan originations and payment processing
  • Primarily develop backend processes and APIs with some UI development
  • Partner with On-Site and Offshore team members in an agile environment
  • Create technical designs and application documentation
  • Follow programming standards, best practices, coding styles and development guidelines
  • Participate in peer design and code reviews
  • Assist the production support team in resolving production issues and identifying problem resolutions
  • Participate in after-hours “on-call” rotation to address critical issues

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing Microsoft web-based applications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing solutions with C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Visual Studio 2016 or later
  • Extensive experience working in an Agile environment
  • Must have solid background with SOA, Microservices, Web API and REST
  • Demonstrated experience with MVC, jQuery, HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML, XSL, AJAX etc.
  • Experience implementing web services utilizing WCF, SOAP/XML
  • Solid background in object-oriented design and analysis (OOD/OOA) and TDD
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Azure DevOps
  • Strong research and troubleshooting skills
  • Must have strong problem-solving and organization skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who will work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of financial and loan management systems is a plus
