Job DescriptionThe Senior Cloud Native Architect is responsible for leading the design of advanced technical solutions with the highest standards of engineering excellence. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep, modern technical experience.Reporting to the Head of Architecture, you will be an experienced thought leader and comfortable engaging senior technologists. You will engage with clients, display technical leadership, and guide the creation ofcomplex solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Architectural Leadership- Lead the design of new, next-generation solutions based on modern Cloud Native architectural principles.
- Lead the technical delivery of projects, ensuring a high quality of work that adheres to best practices, brings innovative approaches, and meets client expectations. Project types include: o Solution architecture, PoCs, MVP, Application Modernization, Custom engineering
- Contribute to COMPANY thought leadership across the Cloud Native domain with an expert understanding of Open Source (e.g. Kubernetes / CNCF) and partner technologies.
- Contribute to the creation of innovative new COMPANY services that help clients accelerate their modernization journeys.
- Engage with peers in our global ecosystem, and collaborate on joint technical projects with partners, including Google, Microsoft, AWS, IBM, Red Hat, Intel, Cisco, and Dell / VMware.
- The perfect candidate will already be working within a System Integrator, Consulting or Enterprise organization with 10+ years of experience in a technical role within the Cloud domain.
- You will know Kubernetes and other Cloud Native technologies exceptionally well. Experience with commercial Kubernetes distros, including Red Hat OpenShift, VMWare Tanzu, Google Anthos, Azure AKS, Amazon EKS, Google GKE.
- You will possess solid hands-on software engineering skills. Coding proficiency is mandatory for this role. Java, C#, Python, Node.js or Golang.
- Deep understanding of core practices including SRE, Agile, Scrum, XP and Domain Driven Design. Familiarity with the CNCF open-source community.
- Exposure to big data, analytics, and AI/ML technologies.
- Your deep technical skills have been recognized with multiple Cloud and Technical certifications at a Professional level, obtained from Google, Microsoft, AWS, Linux Foundation, IBM or Red Hat.
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment using the latest technologies, will love Labs's dynamic and high-energy atmosphere, and are looking to step up to a Senior Architect position with an industry leader
