Senior DevOps Engineer Location: 7800 Dallas North Tollway Suite 600 Plano Texas 75024 Direct Hire/Permanent position (Full time position) NEED LOCAL DALLAS CANDIDATE ONLY MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMM SKILLS AND PERSONALITY This is a new position office model right now beginning Monday 10/18/21 going to the office on Monday and Wednesday each week. No Vaccine requirement. We are looking for passionate and self-motivated Sr DevOps Engineer who breathes automation for infrastructure and software. You are, at core, an extra-ordinary DevOps engineer with flair for designing and solving DevOps challenges for multiple products, by applying automation and DevOps principles. You will be responsible for implementing the highest levels of automation and modern DevOps practices to drive quality, repeatability and rapid time-to-delivery. Your focus will be on automation, configuration management built in these solutions by design. You will act as DevOps evangelist in engineering organization as well. Education & Experience: College degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/in relevant field (Computer Science) or equivalent work experience. Overall 8-10 years of experience working with enterprise IT or service provider environments Relevant certification in DevOps or any public cloud Mandatory Skills: Strong hands-on experience in CI/CD process using Jenkins, Jira, Git Must have experience in Terraforms, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Flyway Strong background in systems administration on Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows platform Experience with configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Ansible or equivalent Should be familiar with any scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python Experience with database systems preferably MS-SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB Server Secondary Skills: Domain expertise: Good to have exposure to any public cloud platform AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform Good experience in Agile methodology (Scrum model). Ability to actively contribute to scrum meetings including daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, design discussions, Demo Experience with using REST APIs, JSON, XML Exposure to IT infrastructure platform automation Additionally, the candidate must possess the following: Excellent interpersonal communications, both verbal and written The ability to work as part of global, virtual team A strong sense of self-motivation and work ethic A positive, persistent approach to their work
