Join us.As a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Associate , you will be responsible for partnering with leaders and employees to build a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, maintaining policies and coaching employees for policy understanding, and seeking to discover opportunities for improving conditions and executing various safety programs.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Prepare and Maintain EHS Documents in accordance with EHS Management System

Audits safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and adequacy relative to local conditions.

Prepare, Plan, and ensure Compliance with permits from local or federal government.

Review Safety & Environmental Incidents – Facilitate investigation and RCCA completion.

Coordinate Safety Stand downs; Audits; Ergonomic studies and Certifications as required.

Establish and Maintain processes, procedures related to EHS Strategies. Interact and Co-ordinate with Global EHS/Divisional on all the activities related to EHS Goals.

Prepare, Monitor, Report and make action plan to improve upon Safety metrics (leading and lagging), Environmental and Sustainability metrics.

Procure, Maintain and distribute PPE as required by Facility.

Lead / Support Safety Projects in the Facility.

Support and assist in preparation of risk assessments

Plan, Establish and Conduct Safety training as per requirement of Facility.

Identify common safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organizations operations and establishes control measures.

Prepares or reviews EHS training materials for the facility.

Monitors periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts line management to problems.

Generating and/or reviewing of reports for environmental and safety agencies

Supports EHS related audits for the CAT Assurance Manual and ISO requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience.

A strong understanding of EHS regulations and corporate standards is essential.

Good knowledge of Safety and EHS related items for a manufacturing/distribution facility.

Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

Top Candidates will also have:

Prior experience of 3-5 years working in EHS roles

Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers.

Certificate courses in occupational safety, health or environment management; Certified Safety professional

Additional Information:

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify

Up to 15% local travel is expected
