Senior ERP Developer (Odoo/Python)

Our client is looking for an advanced-level Odoo developer and Python expert capable of leading features, teams, and development.

• 2-10 years of experience in similar IT Engineering role
• Demonstrated ability to deliver IT solutions - both off-the-shelf package integrations and bespoke software application development
• Experience integrating end-to-end business process solutions from order to cash, including all ERP functions, e.g., CRM, Sales Order, Delivery orders via packages and BOMs, invoicing and cash application
• Good understanding of data warehousing and experience developing reporting needs of systems
• Good group and facilitation skills to gather and clearly document own requirements and testing results
• Adept at utilizing software tools to enable efficient teamwork and communication in an Agile software environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Facilitate and understand end-to-end requirements for a wide range of business processes and solutions, from customer and service provider needs through back office handling
• Document and communicate proposed business process and software solutions to fulfill business initiative needs
• Develop and test integration modules with COTs software and bespoke solutions across the spectrum of delivery platforms including ERP platform, mobile applications, integration with 3rd party service and data providers
• Ability to effectively work with external development and testing partners
• Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn and effectively utilize new software applications, languages, and concepts
• Coach and develop more junior staff to enhance and increase development capacity for the company
• Reports to Director of IT
• Previous experience with ERP system development, testing, and implementation (experience with Odoo a major plus)
• Proven experience with Python web development frameworks and associated/adjacent libraries, e.g., Django, Flask, WSGI, SQLAlchemy, Jinja2, Odoo
• Proven experience with MEAN stack (Mongo, Express, Angular, Nginx), preferred PostgreSQL
• Solid fundamentals of Linux server and container administration and orchestration, e.g., Ansible, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Build, other YAML-based template configuration management
• Proven data warehouse experience delivering timely and efficient reporting solutions utilizing ETL and reporting tools
• ETL and report writing skills preferably in SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS. Other databases and tools will be considered, with PostgreSQL a close second.
• Proven experience with software testing tools for both Unit and UAT tests, e.g., Selenium, Locust, unit test
• Robotic Process Automation experience and tools a plus (e.g., UIPath)
• Group and executive level facilitation skills and stakeholder and change management responsibility
• Experience with the following tools a plus:
  • Odoo ERP
  • SQL Server data warehousing and SSIS, SSRS ETL and reporting solutions, Alfresco document management
  • Python scripting
  • UIPath process automation tool and engine
  • iOS and Android application development
  • G Suite Administration, Cloud infrastructure server computing and storage
  • Linux/Cloud server infrastructure
