Senior 5G Core Engineer / Architect. This is a 12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential (also open for Full Time – Permanent role) and is located in Dallas, TX. Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested. This is an onsite role from Day 1 Pay Range: $70 - $90/hour. Salary Range: $150K - $200K/annually. Key Requirements and Technology Experience:The Operations team is seeking an experienced subject matter expert with demonstrated competence with 4G/5G wireless and IT technologies within the virtualized and cloud native Core domain. The position requires experience in network design, deployment, system integration, optimization, and network managementAs a 5G Core engineer, you will be helping to define and validate the best Core Network solution architecture for the Wireless 5G ORAN / vRAN and Cloud Native Network. The 5G Core Expert will interact closely with Client key partners; Technology, Engineering, Operations and RF Teams. This role is ideal for someone with a unique blend of technical expertise, operational excellence, leadership skill set, and with strong prioritization, facilitation, and communication skills. Qualifications:- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering (Masters or PHD will be favorable)
- 15+ years of overall wireless telecom industry experience as a service provider and/or equipment vendor architecting End to End technical, services, integration, and business needs of the 4G/5G wireless networks.
- 5-7 years in technical roles, as an architect, R&D systems, product management and/or
- Strong knowledge of Core Network solutions for 4G/5G.
- Knowledge of Edge, RAN, Transport, Virtual/Cloud environments, orchestration and
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge across Telco services domains – Deploy,
- Good understanding of software development processes
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Curious minded person striving for continuous learning and innovation
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skill
- Prior experience working with Nokia or Oracle clients is preferred.
