Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Supply Chain Planning organization is looking for a Senior KC -46 Asset Manager (Level 4) to to lead an asset management planning team in support of programs based out of a global environment.This role will be responsible for leading a team of 14+ asset managers in support of demand forecast planning, executing, and managing performance-based logistics contracts. The Lead will be overseeing projects and process improvements, performance dashboards, and adherence to schedules and budgets for Boeing led programs. The Lead will also be responsible for collaboration across functions, process alignment, performance impact analysis, and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. The selected candidate will be accountable to successfully manage, develop, and motivate the team.The position will require 25% travel on average.Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):
The candidate will be involved in a multitude of supply chain related activities to include: customer demand review, forecasting assessment, ordering of materials, reporting on supply activity, strategy development for support of prime contract requirements, enhancing processes and procedures, and working across a multi-functional services team
The candidate will also interface directly with the DLA customer, work autonomously within the Boeing enterprise, and will need to have working knowledge, experience, and understanding of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process
This position requires a high level of personal accountability and responsibility
Position requires strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
Position requires strong knowledge and experience in military supply support environment including demand and inventory management of company-owned material, customer owned material and program/contract material, supply chain decision and execution tools, multi-level supply chain echelons, supply chain data, analysis and physical logistics (warehouse and distribution) competencies
Experience with asset management systems & tools including supply planning & forecasting tools SPO, GOLD, TAV, WOW, COPPR, NWP and knowledge of Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SI&OP) is preferred
Develops and maintains relationships with internal/external customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future .The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee .Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience ):
5-9+ years experience in, supply chain, supplier management, and project management, finance/accounting.
Must be able to travel 25% of time.
Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
Possess excellent communication skills allowing for cross functional interaction with the Customer, Program, supply chain, contracts, finance, engineering, and quality.
Experience with schedule and budget management to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
