WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Senior Marketing Coordinator . The position can be located within any of our offices in the Texas District, including Dallas, Houston, or Austin.This is an opportunity to be a part of delivering critical infrastructure that supports the safe and sustainable growth of the communities in which we live. While based in a specific office, the Senior Marketing Cordinator will serve as a regional resource working throughout a multi-state region. The position will integrate with a high performing, supportive team of marketing coordinators, graphic designers, and strategy development staff responsible for securing some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Central U.S. The Senior Marketing Coordinator will work with a variety of staff, from planners and engineers to designers and construction managers, supporting the marketing team with proposals, qualification packages, award submittals, resumes, project descriptions, and data management. We are looking for a motivated people-person with excellent writing and communication skills to lead the proposal process and support our fast-paced workflow.While our ideal candidate will bring experience in the A/E/C or professional services industries, what we’re looking for is someone with a collaborative, can-do attitude that has a special knack for creativity and persuasive storytelling. Come join us and help shape the future!Duties and Responsibilities:Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings. Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and WSP.

Leads complex proposals with general guidance, including scheduling and conducting project kick-off meetings and strategy sessions for a winning proposal.

Researches, gathers and edits proposal materials, including writing, verifying, and formatting proposal information. Ensures the various aspects of proposals and other marketing materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner with a high attention to detail.

Collaborates with technical staff to write original content and reviews/edits content for clarity, compliance and key messages.

Collaborates with graphic design staff to plan and produce materials ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating the strategic vision identified for a given pursuit.

Organizes and coaches technical staff for virtual and in-person presentations and interviews with a high degree of strategy and creativity.

Supports client engagement teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client engagement team meetings.

May supervise work of marketing coordinators (I, II and III) and graphic designers indirectly.

If this sounds like a fit for you, we’d love to have that first discussion of you joining our team.Who You AreRequired QualificationsMore than 5 years of experience in the AEC industry, preferably in heavy civil transportation, water/wastewater, architecture, landscape architecture, energy or construction management services

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or closely related field

Experience leading large, diverse and virtual proposal teams

Demonstrated experience managing standard and complex proposals from onset to conclusion with general guidance

Excellent communication and coordination skills (both written and oral)

Superior organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

Strong personal initiative and problem-solving skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Ability to travel, if required

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs

Possesses a strategic mindset

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred QualificationsPast experience with medium to large sized A/E/C firms

Involvement in industry organizations such as SMPS
