Looking for Senior Windows OS, C#, .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and iOS; Objective C DeveloperLocation: Houston TX for WeatherfordDuration: 12 monthsHybrid role Under direct supervision, develop, code, test, support and debug new software or enhancements to existing software for WFT. Requires good understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Takes support calls to help resolve technical issues. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from customers.
- May assist in development of software user manuals and provide demonstration of software;
- Develop and maintain Company software for use in the upstream oil and gas industry and in support of ongoing business;
- Provide maintenance programming and new enhancements as required;
- Support the software via phone, field visits, and email;
- Analyze requirements and architecture to perform design and implementation of software applications;
- Demonstrate understanding and adherence to the software development process;
- Influence the technical direction of the team;
- Employ software engineering methods and practices to create artifacts to support the implementation and support of software products;
- Support the creation of documentation and training material;
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
