Location: Roanoke, TX Description: Position: Network Engineer
Location: Westlake, TX (Hybrid) (2-3 days a week onsite) Type : 12+ Months Contract Skills and Knowledge- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledge
- Global/Local load balancing knowledge in F5 environment
- Extensive Routers and Switch experience, specific to HP, Cisco and Nexus hardware
- Strong Unix/Linux skills
- Network Security skills: Firewall, IPS/IDS, Webfiltering, etc.
- In-Depth Network Engineering and Troubleshooting skills
- In-Depth Routed/Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs
- Application Traffic Analysis
- Understanding Status codes: http 100, 400 etc
- Managed File Transfer, FTP, SFTP, etc
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Proficient in Network Packet captures and analysis
- Development/Automation/Scripting knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal skills
