Senior Python Developer

The Software Engineer with a Math and Logic Algorithm specialty will be accountable for writing and maintaining complex algorithms. The position will not require knowledge of Machine Learning but will leverage and enhance Machine Learning results to improve our inference. Someone who loves math and logic and wants to get exposed to machine learning is perfect for the position. The person will collaborate with team members in designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining end-to-end enterprise computer vision and artificial intelligence software solutions. The role requires heavy Python development where the team member is interested in machine learning and wanting to lean more. The developer will be supporting our data scientists doing computer vision and machine learning. This position reports to the Manager of Software Engineering in the New Product Development group. Accountabilities

•      Participate in build processes for enterprise software solutions by:

•      Create and maintain effective documentation on solutions: The Engineer will create documentation on the data flow, architecture, and daily operation and troubleshooting for all assigned solutions and maintain that documentation in an ongoing fashion.
•      Function as an escalation point for technical support and troubleshooting: The Engineer will help troubleshoot algorithm issues and problem resolution.

•      Provide timely updates to management on open issues and projects
•      Ensure availability and security requirements are met consistently.
•      Other duties as assigned

•      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field or equivalent in work experience.
•      Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience
•      Demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least 3 of the following: Python, Math, Logic, Agile Development, SQL Queries
•      Experience working cross functionally in disparate geographies required
•      Ability to travel approximately 2% of the time
