SUMMARYThis position will play a pivotal role on the Technology Team contributing to business-critical projects in

SAP S/4 HANA Practice by supporting systems design, configuration, development, implementation, deployment, and support of Technology capabilities. This is a technical role that will be responsible for designing-optimizing-delivering technical solutions that align to business requirements that support-enable internal customers to achieve high-performance results. This role will contribute to defining the technical roadmap as well as definitions of technical-documentation standards of our SAP solution(s). This position will report to the Director of Technology but work daily within the business application teams and peer departments. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Creates technical designs, program code and unit test based on functional requirement design, adhering to departmental development, testing and documentation standards.
  • Support ongoing projects, enhancements, and day-to-day production support activities.
  • Understands development framework, application architecture and technical architecture to create solutions that fit in to the overall system landscape.
  • Considers and documents storage requirements, performance of the application and restart/recovery factors during the design, development, and implementation of technical process.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues, coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Effectively work with business and IT team to prioritize and plan implementation of changes.
  • Ability to work independently and alongside others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities.

  • Develop interface programs using standard SAP techniques and/or integration technologies between SAP and non-SAP applications.

HOW YOU'LL GET THERE
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years hands-on development experience with S/4 HANA.
  • Hands-on development-support experience in Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Procurement, and FICO.
  • Design, code, test, debug complex ABAP programming including Enhancements, Reports, Adobe forms, ABAP Web Dynpro, Object Oriented programming, and Workflow per specification and guidelines.
  • Experience in creating - extending CDS Views required.
  • Experience in Odata and extensions required.
  • Experience implementing SAP in the CPG or Retail industries as either a client, a consultant, or both.
  • Strong understanding of SAP SD and FI integration points.
  • Requires strong communication skills to work internally with end user departments, management, and peers. Develops and provides written and verbal presentations to end users, and peers.
  • Exhibits strong analytical ability and creativity in developing and integrating an end-to-end solution.
  • Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus) preferred.
  • Experience with working with external AMS organizations preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian (Jira, Service Desk, Confluence) preferred.
  • Working in Agile environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint) preferred.
