The successful candidate will be assigned to multi-phased projects and will be required to provide work direction and mentoring to other more junior project control specialists. Work is usually office based but depending on individual project requirements the position may require travel to and / or work in client facilities or remote construction locations. Responsibilities:Work in a manner that ensures not only your personal safety, but also the safety of fellow employees by following all company health, safety and code of conduct policies. Scheduling experience using Primavera is integral to the position (preferably in EPC Environment).Develop, analyze and maintain resource and cost-loaded project schedules; integrated program schedules and Earned Value Management tools.Ensure that project schedules comply with contract requirements and meet industry quality standards.Develop templates to ensure consistency of the Work Breakdown Structure and activity set guidelines across multiple projects and reports.Create cost and schedule management reports, client reports, and executive-level reports. Implement effective change order management processes. Create and monitor program and project budgets, cash flow projections, and forecasts. Perform cost analyses to determine the validity of claimed cost and schedule impacts.Work closely with project management, contract management, engineering and construction personnel to define detailed measurement and scheduling criteria. Work with business management (Program Managers & Directors) to report both project and rolled up program forecasts.YOU MUST HAVEBS Degree 5+ years relevant Project controls experience4+ years’ experience using Primavera Hands on experience utilizing Primavera during the last 2 yearsWE VALUEExperience with multi-disciplined projects (engineering, software development, construction, and procurement) and leading a project controls team. The ability to interpret relationships between cost, schedule and resource requirements and how they relate to stated business objectives. Experience in presenting schedule data to both project teams and upper management. Certifications from PMI, AACE, or similar.Travel approx. 15-20% Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite of tools, in particular Excel, Word and Power Point.Team player with good written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.Must be customer focused and possess ability to manage customer relationship and expectations.
