Job Function
- Reviewing test cases and test results to ensure business requirements are adequately tested
- Leading testing teams on multiple projects, each having different timelines
- Participating in triage sessions to troubleshoot issue reported internally or by the client
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the project team
- Preparing test plans for testing efforts
- Interacting with the business team and the client to understand product requirements
- Participating in Analysis & Design sessions and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
- Creating and executing test scripts using automation test tools
- Providing proactive guidance ensuring team is fostering automation, re-use of test artifacts, test case design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency of solutions
- Performance testing and analysis
- Providing direction on getting the best use out of testing tools and techniques
- Reviewing QA processes to make sure best practices are always being followed
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our business, products, and application portfolio
- Performs a combination of duties in accordance with department guidelines
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of QA experience
- Experience working with Web application testing using appropriate programming languages, operating systems, and software
- Experience in developing SQL queries utilizing RDBMS to validate test results and/or to create test data to execute test cases
- Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills with attention to details
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment demonstrating strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Performance Testing tools
- Experience with Web Services testing tools
- Experience with Cucumber a plus
