Converge Technology Solutions is looking for a Datacenter/Virtualization Solutions Architect.This is a technical sales support role for our Account Management team. Your ability to clearly articulate datacenter and virtualization solutions and services to our existing customer base and prospects is essential. Your involvement in our opportunities will start with the initial customer meeting and continue through the design phases of the solution. You must be a self-starter, require minimal supervision, and possess strong technical and design knowledge of datacenter and virtualization solutions. This position requires excellent communications skills (written and verbal), as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
Objectives of this Role:- Desire to be in a sales-driven, 100% customer-facing role
- Ability to deliver detailed Statements of Works and proposals with a high-level project plan
- Ability to deliveraccurate Bills of Materials
- Strong organization skills to effectively manage your own time, calendar and follow-ups
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- 5+ years datacenter and virtualization pre-sales experience with knowledge of associated best practices and technology.
- Must be able to quickly learn several products across a wide range of datacenter and virtualization technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of datacenter and virtualization products. Preferred solutions could include technologies from VMware, Cisco, IBM, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Pure Storage, NetApp, Veeam, Rubrik, Cohesity, Zerto, and Nutanix
- Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, Converged/Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Backup/DR, Hybrid Cloud.
