Our client is a publicly traded company in the Oil and Energy Sector. They are looking to interview and hire quickly!The role is a Senior Systems Analyst for the Oracle Enterprise Business Suite, P2 Enterprise Upstream applications. Incumbents in this role provide functional and technical expertise, guidance and support for the business users and project-related activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide support to the business users in their daily activities as neededAssist with the planning and scheduling to implement patches, upgrades and new products to supplement and/or improvements to the current systemsTest patches, new releases and Cabot-specific code to ensure that these meet the business requirements and provides continuous and quality business activityLiaise with the business to assess process requirements and evaluate possible alternatives and recommend and implement solutionsCreate and maintain standards, procedures, and documentation related to area of responsibilityParticipate in computer audits and perform testing for disaster recovery process, ensuring a secure processing environment that protects the integrity and availability of informationAssist with the development of methods and processes for integrating different products so they work properly together in support of business processesAssist with all aspects of security design, performance tuning, system / interface monitoring, backup and recoveryParticipate in user communities and industry organizations to continue awareness of industry best practices along with the ability to suggest innovation where possibleMaintain relationships with software suppliers and other third parties as required to provide timely and cost-effective customer supportWork with developers, system and network administrators to support and improve system performance and stabilityPerform quality assurance & design review functions for all projects where the technology will be utilizedAssist with activities related to acquisitions and divestitures, including but not limited to data extractions, data mapping, conversions, interfaces, custom objects and reportingEstablishes and sustains close working relationships with business customers in delivery of IT services and supportEffectively communicates with all levels of the organization to ensure project success and user needs are identified and metWork collaboratively with other members of the IS team to provide quality support for the portfolio of business applications.Take ownership of support issues, utilizing other internal/external expertise as requiredKeeps management and stakeholders informed of project progress, open tasks and escalated issues on a regular basisOther duties as assignedSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExtensive experience with Oracle EBS R12 (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Receivables, Payables) and P2 Enterprise Upstream (Joint Venture Accounting, AFE and Base) including implementations and upgradesStrong in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Development using TOAD and/or SQLDeveloperOverall product/module integration experienceEstablished proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of basic accounting principles and ability to explain accounting workflows.Strong interpersonal, problem solving, verbal and written communications skills requiredMust be detail-oriented and able to multi-task with attention to accuracyMust be team player able to adapt to a changing and fast paced work environmentEducation RequirementsMin/Preferred4 Year / Bachelors Degree4-year degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field highly preferred; Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.7+ years experience requiredDirect-hire full-timeYou may contact me directly at: #hsitdice
