Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Investment Management industry for a Senior Tax Accountant based in Dallas, Texas. The role entails managing and preparing tax compliance projects and participating in various tax special projects. It is a crucial role that will contribute to the efficient running of the accounting operations.Responsibilities: Manage and execute tax compliance projects related to the preparation of federal and state tax returns for corporations and partnerships. Involved in state estimate, extension, and tax provision processes. Prepare responses to IRS and state exam information requests and other correspondence. Engage in various tax special projects, including transfer pricing, tax credits, mergers and acquisitions, and international tax issues. Promote a detail oriented and harmonious work environment with team members and coworkers. Utilize software tools such as CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP S/4HANA for efficient task execution. Work on annual income tax provision and annual tax compliance audits. Oversee the management of corporate income tax. Perform other projects and duties as assigned. Requirements Proficient in using CCH ProSystem Fx for tax preparation and compliance Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modelling Familiar with QuickBooks for managing accounting and finance tasks Experience with SAP S/4HANA for financial planning and analysis Able to prepare and analyze Annual Income Tax Provision Knowledge in managing Annual Tax and Annual Tax Provision Ability to conduct Compliance Audit for ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations Experienced in handling Corporate Income Tax Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax accounting role, preferably in the investment management industry Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Detailed-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with tax regulations and laws in the investment management industry Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure Strong organizational and time management skills.
